I’ve already blogged about the awesome dog-friendly beaches in Santa Barbara, California. But sometimes you just have to see it to believe it.
And yes – I’m a huge Weezer fan. This one in particular is like my “power song” – it’s going through my head as I’m fetching that ball that’s just out of reach over the next wave!
Enjoy! And leave me a comment and let me know how you’ve been spending your summer!

What “a ball” you seemed to be having, Nellie, and what a great swimmer you are! I will have to come and see the real thing before the summer is over! I hope you continue to have a dog-gone great time at the beach with no bones to pick about anything! Keep wagging that tail!

Ah, we sure miss the SB beaches…our mom and dad have to drive us a few hours just to find a lame ol’ lake for us to swim in! We miss our weekends surfing the waves at Summerland Beach or chasing all the tourists at Hendry’s. Maybe some day your mom and our mom will let us all meet! (Once Dad is done with Vet School and all!)

Wow Nellie! You’re fearless!!! What a great swimmer you are! Hmm, maybe Canine Water Polo will be the next latest and greatest sport! You’re one lucky dog! I’d love to know how you train your mom and dad to take you to the beach more often…that’s a plan that should be published! Woofs Nellie!

whoa Nellie, what a jolly old time you are having in that salt water! i am eagerly awaiting our journey to the lake. i look dapper in a swimsuit, if i do say so myself — and you’ve got a bod like nobody’s business….
p.s. i saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said:
“the more people I meet, the more I like my dog”…. Brilliant.
